F. A. Clover & Son Ltd

FA Clover & Son (or simply Clovers) was established in 1917 by the Great-Grandfather of the current owners, Frederick Albert Clover.  His family had been previously involved with gas lamp lighting and FA Clover saw an opportunity to undertake the painting of their local gas works.

By 1921 he had secured the contract to paint the country’s largest gasholder ‘Jumbo’, located in the East End.

One of the factors that has led to our successful longevity is the comprehensive and prestigious client list we have cultivated – the quantity of our repeat orders stands as a testament to the quality of our customer focused service.
